Phone Requirements
Any Smartphone running one of the following operating systems:
Windows Mobile 6.x or Symbian OS 9.x
or Android 1.x / 2.x /3.x or BlackBerry 4.x / 5.x / 6.x / 7.0 / 7.1or Apple iPhone 3.x / 4.x / 5.0 / 5.0.1
Internet Connection Requirements
Carrier which allows the use of GPRS upload (almost every carrier)
The inserted SIM card's account must have Internet access enabled to upload.

THREE BASIC STEPS TO SETUP AND USAGE OF MOBILE SPY
Step 1. Register Your Account - [Details]
After ordering Mobile Spy you will instantly receive an email containing your registration code.
If you have already registered using a trial account:
Please contact our Technical Support department at 1-888-475-5345 so that they may register your account(s) as a paid subscription, and you can maintain the same username for that account. You can also submit a support ticket here to register your trial account(s) into fully registered accounts. When submitting a support ticket, be sure to include your contact information, username(s) to register, and your registration code you received upon purchasing a subscription.
If you have never created a Mobile Spy account:
You will first need to create your username and password by registering. DO NOT USE any spaces or characters other than numbers or letters. Paste your registration number to the appropriate box. You must agree to the legal requirements on the registration page. Then click Submit.
Step 2. Install Mobile Spy - [Details]
After you have registered your account, it's time to install the software to your phone. You have to download and install Mobile Spy directly onto the phone you own & intend to monitor. Go to the appropriate installation instructions page for your operating system.
Each operating system has different instructions for installing the software. Windows Mobile, Symbian OS, iPhone, Android, BlackBerry.
Step 3. Login to View Logs - [Details]
After you have installed the software you can login SECURELY to your account to view logs anytime. Please allow up to a few hours after installing for logs to show up the first time. Usually the first logs show up after one hour.
*** NOTE: When you log into your online account control panel, you MUST hit the "Sync Now" link on the main welcome screen to retrieve all new log activity. This must be done each time you log into your account so that all current and pending logs are retrieved. ***
Now that you know a little more about how the process works we will describe each step in more detail. let's begin by registering your account as described below.
If you have already registered using a trial account:

You will now need to create your username and password by registering. By registering your account you will create your username and password. To register, please click on the link below to go to the Registration page:

After you have reached the Registration page, input data into the following fields. DO NOT USE any spaces or special characters other than numbers or letters for your username. Your password may contain numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces. Both the username and password MUST contain between 4 - 10 characters each. Paste your registration code to the appropriate box. You must agree to the legal requirements on the registration page. Then click SUBMIT.
Login Information
Enter a username / password you wish to use. Must contain between 4 - 10 characters each.
Registration Code
Copy and Paste the registration code from your order email.
Support Email Address
Enter your email address in case we need to email you updates.
Legal Requirements
You must check the box to agree to the Mobile Spy Legal Requirements.
After you have completed all fields, click SUBMIT to create your Mobile Spy account.
Now that you have registered your account, it's time to install Mobile Spy onto your phone that you intend to monitor. The steps for installation vary depending on which operating system your smartphone is running. To find the steps for your phone, simply click your operating system from the list below.
Not sure which version operating system you have?
On Windows Mobile devices, go to: Start > Settings > About.
On Symbian OS devices, go to: Menu > Applications/Tools > About.
On iPhone / iPad devices, go to: Settings > General > About.
On BlackBerry devices, go to: Settings > Options > About.
On Android devices, go to: Settings > About Phone.
Logging Into Your SECURE Account
When you are ready to login to your account to check logs, enter your username and password into the fields below and click LOGIN. Or you can use the dedicated login page. Be sure to enter your username and password EXACTLY as you did upon account creation. Your username and password are case-sensitive.
Inside Your Account
Once you are inside your account, your screen will look something like the one below. Inside your account there are two groups of links on the left side. Each group contains a specific set of commands. These groups are outlined below.

Log Viewer
This is where you view all activities. You can select the direction and type of records to view, or view all at once.
Tools
Various log utilities including Search logs by phone number and Clear All Logs. You can also change your password * here or logoff.
The menu at the top of the online control panel also contains links to some of the most commonly used commands.
Log Viewers
Each type of recording is saved into a separate log section for your convenience. All log viewer pages work the same. You can do a global search of logs in your account for any exact phone number. Simply click the Search Logs link in the Tools section of the menu. Then enter your query. Results will be displayed for any matches found in ANY log type!
Deleting Logs
The log files within each viewer page can be deleted by clicking the checkboxes for items you wish to delete, then just click Delete. Additionally you can choose to clear ALL logs by clicking the appropriate link in the Tools / Utilities section of the left menu. Only erase logs if you are sure you want them erased. They cannot be recovered.
*** NOTE: All logs are subject to deletion after thirty (30) days. ***
Change Password
Changing your password should only be done when you can also change it on the phone. To change your password, go to your online control panel and click the Change Password link in the Tools section at left. Insert the appropriate fields and click submit. Your password will then be changed. Then, bring up the Mobile Spy interface on your phone. Change the password in the program to your new password.
Exporting Logs in CSV
Mobile Spy allows you to save logs to a CSV file. Simply click the CSV link on any viewer page. The results will show in a new window where you can save to any location. This is useful for viewing logs in a spreadsheet program such as Excel, or for a way to see all Text Messages at once.

SMS Commands
New to Mobile Spy version 5.0 is the ability to perform remote SMS commands with the monitored device. This allows you to send an SMS message to the device and, depending on which command you send, a particular action will occur. You can remotely lock and unlock the monitored device, instantly retrieve the phone's GPS location and SIM card information, and wipe the phone's recent activities all from your own phone! Simply click on the operating system icon below that corresponds to the device you are monitoring to view the SMS commands for that operating system:
LIVE Control Panel
Brand new to the new version 5.0 of Mobile Spy is the LIVE Control Panel. This new feature of Mobile Spy now gives you the capability to view the monitored phone's screen live as it is being used. Also, the last 5 recorded GPS positions will be displayed on an actual map.
In addition, you will have the ability to instantly retrieve phone information, such as SIM information and live GPS locations, instantly from this new panel. And you can remotely lock, unlock, and control the device from your computer or phone's internet browser.
New to Mobile Spy version 5.0 is the ability to have your recorded logs emailed directly to your email account, as well as being viewable inside your Online Account. A new option of the LIVE Control Panel is the capability to have the recorded logs on the device emailed directly to you at any given time. No more waiting for them to upload to your account!

Email All SMS Messages:
This command will email all of the SMS activity to the email address you have selected.
Email All Call History:
This command will email all of the phone call activity to the email address you have selected.
Email All Contacts:
This command will email all of the contacts on the phone to the email address you have selected.
Current GPS Location:
This command will transmit the phone's current GPS position and the result can be seen in the Status column by clicking on "Click Here For Your Results".
Get SIM Card Info:
This command will transmit the phone's current SIM card information and the result can be seen in the Status column by clicking on "Click Here For Your Results".
SMS From Device:
This commnand will send an SMS from the monitored device. You will be prompted for the target phone number and SMS message body.
Call From Device:
This command will have the monitored device call a phone number you desire. You will be prompted from the target phone number.
Start / Stop Siren:
This command will enable or disable the alarm siren within Mobile Spy. You can use this siren as a warning alert or if the phone is lost or stolen.
Lock Device / Unlock Device:
This command will lock or unlock the monitored phone to allow or restrict usage.
